About this Opportunity

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure achievement of business plans and objectives in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

  • Lead by example, supporting continuous improvement initiatives in safety and production, overseeing program implementation.
  • Ensure timely reporting of incidents and hazards.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace policies and procedures, ensuring product quality standards.
  • Schedule labor requirements, updating shift rosters.
  • Manage labor to meet production goals, monitor daily performance.
  • Monitor and manage daily production, liaising with production staff on performance issues.
  • Conduct regular discussions with employees, addressing performance issues.
  • Engage with employees regularly to identify and implement improvements in efficiency and setup times.
  • Assist in new worker onboarding, monitoring training plans.
  • Monitor employee performance, address unsatisfactory performance collaboratively.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with tradespeople, minimizing downtime.
  • Investigate packaging non-conformances, including customer complaints.
  • Work proactively to minimize waste and support continuous improvement.
  • Update workforce time and attendance systems.
  • Provide daily reports to stakeholders, outlining essential information.
