About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Analyst to join our team on an ongoing project. The initial term will be 8 months, with a high likelihood of a further 6 months extension.

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will report directly to the Scrum Master and be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of our software products.

Your role will involve designing, executing, and overseeing test strategies and plans that align with our Agile development process. You will be responsible for providing test estimates and planning testing activities for each sprint or iteration.

You will also develop comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases for functional and non-functional requirements. Additionally, you will execute manual and automated tests, identifying defects and opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide test estimates and plan testing activities for each sprint or iteration.

  • Execute manual and automated tests, identifying defects and opportunities for improvement.
  • Log, track, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development and business teams.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including preparation of UAT test plans and support for business users.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

This is a contract role with a day rate negotiable. You must have at least baseline clearance for this role. You can work from any major Australian city, across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Canberra.
