Key Responsibilities:

  • To diagnose and repair breakdowns using advanced problem-solving techniques and strong technical expertise
  • Providing mechanical preventative maintenance
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, welders, and general machining equipment including EWP and Forklift
  • Completing daily work records, machine log books, and preventative maintenance work sheets
  • Implementing a program of continual process improvement
  • Complying with all relevant company, national and state policies, codes of practice, regulations and laws

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant Trades Licenses e.g. Forklift, Working at Heights are desirable
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate is desirable
  • Sound stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management
