Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking experienced diesel mechanics to work on our fleet of Mack and Kenworth trucks.

About the Role:

As a diesel mechanic, you will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults with precision. Our team works together to maintain high-quality service standards and ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers
  • Service and maintain vehicles in line with workshop procedures and quality standards
  • Diagnose and repair or replace brakes, suspension, steering systems, and major engine components
  • Perform welding and grinding on chassis and comb rails of flat-top trailers
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime
  • Order and install replacement parts in line with manufacturer specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs in line with company procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a diesel mechanic working on heavy vehicles and trailers
  • Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification
  • Proven experience working on MACK and Kenworth trucks
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices
  • Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks
