**Role Overview:**

The Allied Health Assistant plays a vital role within the Community Recovery Services (CRS) team, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group of professionals to provide high-quality mental health services.

Working in partnership with government and non-government service providers, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a range of mental health tasks to support individuals in improving their social and functional abilities.

Key to this role is working collaboratively with allied health and nursing staff to achieve sound outcomes for clients, while also participating in quality initiatives and contributing to team processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mental health tasks over an extended period to enhance client functioning and well-being.
  • Support allied health and nursing staff in achieving positive outcomes for clients through collaborative practice.
  • Work effectively with government and non-government service providers to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Hold current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
  • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination policy.
  • Meet CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
