This position is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to residents in a residential aged care setting.

  • Plan, prepare, and present nutritious and well-balanced meals that meet the dietary needs of residents.
  • Ensure kitchen, dining room, and associated equipment and crockery meet required hygiene and compliance standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
About You
  • A certificate III or IV in commercial cookery is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience as a cook in an aged care setting is preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of modified diets is also beneficial.

The successful applicant will need to undergo a National Police Check, provide proof of Flu & COVID-19 Vaccination, and may be required to complete a NDIS check.
