After School Care Educator Role

We are seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators to deliver high-quality education and care to school-aged children in our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs.

This is an opportunity for you to build positive relationships with your team and collaborate to ensure the best outcomes for our children and families.

You will be part of a growing team who deliver after-school programs that provide nurturing care, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and create recreational and educational experiences for all.

The ideal candidate will have experience gained in Early Childhood or working with children in some capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement a fun, safe, and engaging program that adheres to laws, regulations, and learning frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively with the OSHC Service Leader and team to achieve program goals.
  • Provide high-quality care and education to school-aged children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
