Job Description

The Manager, Learning and Development role at Australian Catholic University is a strategic position that leads the delivery of learning and development programs. The position operates within the Learning and Development Team and is responsible for managing a team of specialists to support the capability of the ACU workforce.


The Manager, Learning and Development acts as a partner to the university, consulting with stakeholders to ensure that learning and development programs are relevant and responsive to the emerging needs of the University. This includes designing, sourcing, enhancing, and delivering a suite of learning offerings across the university.


Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires a broad understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and solutions. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically about how best to build capability across a diverse workforce.

Total remuneration valued up to $160,095 - $170,833 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $135,360 - $144,538 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
