Job Title: Urgent Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our urgent care team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care for injuries or illnesses.
  • Perform various care activities including history assessments, administering medications, wound care, plastering, and patient education.
  • Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Support patient services, greet and assist patients, monitor appointment books, register and update registration details as required.
  • Provide guidance relating to inclusion and exclusion criteria over the phone as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked clinical area, complete administrative tasks such as Medicare billing, coding, and scanning documentation into patient files.
  • Provide high-quality comprehensive documentation in all patient files.
  • Participate in workplace health and safety practices, reporting incidents and hazards as per policies.
Requirements:
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • A relevant nursing qualification.
  • Current registration with the Nursing Board.
  • Experience in a similar role.
