Master Cartographer

The role of a Master Cartographer is to contribute to the development of geospatial projects, conduct spatial analysis and data management at a leading consultancy.

• Maintain and update GIS databases ensuring accuracy, accessibility and currency of all datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and clients providing GIS and data management expertise and insight.
• Respond to mapping requests and ensure GIS data quality.

You will need to have a recent or soon-to-be graduate degree in Geomatics, GIS or related field. Knowledge of ESRI Suite and QGIS is also required along with skills in spatial analysis, data management and cartography.

A strong background in geospatial technologies and methodologies is necessary for this position. Key skills include proficiency in spatial analysis, data management and cartographic visualization tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS. Additionally, excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
