Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Iron Bridge open-cut mine site project in Western Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all weekly and daily mobile maintenance activities, prioritizing resources, machinery, and people to achieve high-quality solutions and results.

You will also be responsible for solving daily and weekly technical and resource logistical problems, ensuring full statutory and safety compliance of all maintenance activities, identifying resource and skill gaps for team members, and developing strategies to close these gaps.

Additionally, you will mentor, coach, and roll out training and development plans to support the growth and development of your team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician
  • 5+ years post-trade experience
  • Demonstrated experience with large fleets of mobile mining machinery
  • Mine System Maintenance experience
  • General Computer Skills
  • Supervisor experience preferred
  • Mentoring and/or coaching experience preferred
  • Sound knowledge of planning and scheduling, plant availability, and preventative maintenance processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
