We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ozcare, providing in-home care and support to our clients in Townsville.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist with domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide support with daily tasks, such as shopping and transportation.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide holistic care and support to clients.
- Current Police Screening Certificate.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- A reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance.
- Current Queensland driver's licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
- Good computer and mobile device skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- 5 weeks annual leave plus leave loading (pro-rated).
- NFP Salary Packaging and entertainment and meals card totalling $18,550 per year.
- Uniform and laundry allowance.
- Paid kms and travel time between clients.
- Mobile phone supplied.
- Employee Assistance Program.
