The Role

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our Wardrobe Department on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing uniforms, guest clothes, and linen, as well as providing a professional service to our internal staff by ensuring the daily alterations, maintenance, and fittings of uniforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform uniform fittings, alterations, and repairs
• Repair and alter garments for Employees and Hotel Guests, completing all relevant paperwork and taking payments
• Attend daily briefings to ensure required information is obtained to carry out daily duties and ensure that expectations are achieved
• Monitor and order stock buttons, needles, threads, etc.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated high level of customer service
• Competency in repairing and altering garments and linen
• Previous experience using industrial Sewing machines
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of hand sewing techniques and garments (sizes, fittings, measurements)
• Knowledge of manufacturing garments
• Basic computer skills required
