Disability Support Worker

This role is perfect for someone with a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disability.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for adults requiring support within the home involving Community Access and Domestic Assistance.

Shifts available: Thursday or Friday 2:30pm - 5pm; Tuesday and Wednesday, 3 hours a day - times to be determined

Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care or equivalent (students currently studying in these areas, as well as Nursing, Physio Therapy, OT and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply)
  • Enthusiastic, positive approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability
  • Reliable, kind, and caring nature, with good work ethics
  • Well-presented and a professional approach
  • Active with average physical fitness level
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of people's individual support needs
