As Program Coordinator for Community Service Programs, you will manage the delivery of Bachelor of Community Services programs by overseeing staffing matters, coordinating program delivery and ensuring a student-centric experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop curriculum, deliver courses, and assess students.
- Ensure programs meet industry standards and high-quality outcomes.
- Mentor teaching staff and conduct performance appraisals.
- Manage daily operations, including timetabling and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and procedures; Maintain accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Participate in program reviews and updates and prepare reports for academic committees.
- Ideal qualifications include a PhD degree in social work or a related welfare discipline, with years of industry experience. A Masters degree is also acceptable.
- Proven hands-on leadership experience with excellent administration and organizational skills.
- Possession of a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.
- Experience in academic leadership roles, preferably within an education setting, demonstrating ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor staff.
- Familiarity with relevant education policies, procedures, and standards.
- Experience in maintaining academic quality and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
- You will be an experienced and passionate academic professional with a strong background in community services education, proven track record in curriculum development, teaching, and program coordination, with strong ability to manage both academic and operational aspects of educational programs.
