Occupational Therapy Team Leader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced occupational therapist to lead our team and drive excellence in service delivery.

This senior role involves providing advanced clinical occupational therapy services, fostering professional growth, and ensuring our clinical services meet the highest standards of quality, evidence-based practice, and exceptional patient and caregiver engagement.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of research and evidence-based practice in occupational therapy.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and promote professional values and ethics.
  • Participate in weekend roster if required.

To succeed in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, current membership with the relevant professional association, and demonstrated advanced clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

You will also have highly developed communication skills, including written, verbal, interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation experience, and demonstrated experience in initiating, designing, and implementing research and quality improvement activities.
