Job Role

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist who can drive meaningful outcomes for our organisation and its stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with various teams to provide expert procurement advice and guidance.

You will be responsible for shaping and delivering both short- and long-term procurement strategies that align with our organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include sourcing, tendering, supply chain management, contract oversight, and building trusted relationships with suppliers.

As a leader in this role, you will focus on proactive planning, identifying opportunities, and fostering partnerships that create value for everyone involved.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in procurement, with a strong commercial understanding and ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate tenders and support smooth contract delivery.
  • The capacity to build trust and foster positive relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Natural leadership skills, with the ability to guide change and nurture team success.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, procurement, commercial, or supply chain management, as well as membership of a procurement body (desirable).
  • Technical or industry-related experience in the energy sector, along with strong customer service, negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
