About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Engineer. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting various road construction projects across the South Coast Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze daily job costing sheets to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Manage procurement of suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with program of works.
- Conduct audits on works performed to ensure restoration standards and specifications are met.
- Raise and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Outstanding Field Issues (OFIs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist Supervisors and Asset Works Manager on technical matters.
- Develop and implement operations plans and works programs for short-term and long-term projects.
- Lead client meetings and provide innovative solutions to meet project objectives.
- Support the development of project reports on revenue, cost, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or other relevant degree.
- 2-5 years' experience in roadworks and pavement construction.
- Experience in traffic management and traffic guidance schemes (TMD qualification desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
