Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in our testing team. As Test Practice Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining testing processes and empowering your team to excel in their projects.

  • Your primary goal will be to develop and refine test processes, methodologies, disciplines, and measurements across all technologies.
  • You will promote testing principles and disciplines with business customers, vendors, and IT groups, and seek feedback on the effectiveness of testing processes.
  • An essential part of this role is to help establish and encourage development practices conducive to test automation.
  • You will manage the end-to-end Integration and User Acceptance Testing phases.
  • Measuring and reporting test progress and results throughout the stages of the development life cycle relating to testing is also a key responsibility.
  • Identify, revise, and enhance adherence to processes and standards used within the test function.
  • E nsure the testing environment has the right tools (manual and automated) in place enabling practitioners to deliver a consistent and quality output.
  • Determine the test capability required to meet current and future project demand in all specialized technical disciplines.
  • Guarantee the appropriate quality and quantity of skilled people are available.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of functional and performance testing experience.
  • Experience in test tools including JMeter.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD using GitLab.
  • Industry experience in the Telecommunications domain.
  • Strong test fundamentals like test planning, defect management, and test closure.
  • Coordination or project management skills.
  • The ability to establish strong relationships internally.
  • Able to gain a good understanding of our technology direction.
