About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our Banking and Financial Services Security and Fraud Prevention team at Macquarie. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and information.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design and architecture, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in large enterprises. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to provide security advice and define security architectures for business initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, operate, design, and architect security solutions for business and technology initiatives
  • Develop and maintain formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design
  • Work with public cloud (AWS and/or GCP), containers, Kubernetes, and related technologies
  • Experience with security engineering, API security, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automation, and application development desirable
  • Familiarity with SABSA, NIST 800-53, Open FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, threat modelling, and related methodologies or frameworks
