Job Description

Nixil Pty is seeking a skilled Business Solutions Analyst to join our team. As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of our payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to payment systems, ensuring that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support decision-making processes, providing valuable recommendations to drive business growth.
  • System Integration: Ensure the smooth integration of switch systems, including ACI Base 24, CONNEX, Cybersource, Data Navigator, EFTPOS, Fiserv Galaxy, FIS Connex, Omnipay, and Pega (disputes), guaranteeing that all systems work in harmony.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in workflows or systems and propose solutions to optimize business processes, streamlining operations and improving productivity.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and outcomes, generating reports to communicate findings effectively and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of project objectives, facilitating collaboration and driving success.
  • Functional Specifications: Translate business needs into functional specifications or user stories, guiding the development of software or system solutions, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to validate developed solutions, ensuring that they meet business requirements, and that all systems are functioning as expected.
  • Monitoring and Feedback: Monitor implemented solutions, gather feedback, and recommend further enhancements to align with evolving business needs, ensuring that all systems remain optimized and effective.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Switch Systems Expertise: Proven experience with a combination of the following: ACI Base 24, CONNEX, Cybersource, Data Navigator, EFTPOS, Fiserv Galaxy, FIS Connex, Omnipay, and Pega (disputes).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights, providing valuable recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey technical information clearly, ensuring that all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes, workflows, and industry-specific knowledge to align solutions with organizational goals, driving success and growth.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies, ensuring that all systems are functioning as expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in business analysis within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
  • Full working rights: Must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
