About the Role

You will have the opportunity to work with a leading consulting firm, Advance Delivery Consulting, in the Sydney CBD/Melbourne area.

You will be challenged to take responsibility for analyzing master data sets and troubleshooting data issues.

To excel in this role, you need a keen eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases.

The role will also involve extensive knowledge and experience in ETL development using Informatica.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise in SQL skills to profile the data.
  • Analyze, profile, and systematically present the data for business and management team understanding.
  • ETL development and data migration tasks.
  • Interpreting the functional aspect of data and reporting aspect of data.
  • Present the data to business and the consumers of the data, highlighting the scope and identifying gaps/issues on data from source.
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Working alongside teams within the business, solution team, or technical team to establish business needs.
  • Documenting data mapping rules for migration.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis and development experience – Junior role.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and development experience – Mid role.
  • Solid consulting ability across SSIS, SSRS, and expertise in data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills – ability to analyze and critically evaluate gathered information to resolve conflicts, anticipate issues, and make priority decisions.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to manage and influence key relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in the health cover and insurance domain is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Relevant degree in the IT industry.
  • Certification in relevant technologies.
Compensation

Junior Role: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.

Mid Role: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year.
