We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team at RUC Mining. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding underground Sandvik Jumbo's & Trucks, Atlas Drills, CAT Loaders & Volvo IT's in our Surface Workshop/ Underground Repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair underground heavy equipment, including Sandvik Jumbo's & Trucks, Atlas Drills, CAT Loaders & Volvo IT's.
  • Perform fault-finding and diagnostic work to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure effective equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel fitting and heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
