We're looking for a seasoned professional to spearhead the hosted buyer program, focusing on senior stakeholders across the mining sector.

This strategic role is at the heart of our event's value proposition, where influential people in the mining industry come together, delivering ideas and inspiration as a global meeting ground for industry leaders.

  • Develop and execute a targeted acquisition strategy to secure senior decision-makers from mine operators and major mining contractors.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers responsible for project execution and on-site operations, aligning their goals with exhibitor and sponsor objectives.
  • Manage the full hosted buyer journey, ensuring a smooth and high-value experience for all participants.
  • Lead on-site execution & delivery of the Hosted Buyer Program, driving a high meeting match rate and strong satisfaction scores.
  • Collect and analyze post-event feedback to measure impact and identify improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years' experience in hosted buyer programs, B2B events, or VIP relationship management, with mining or heavy industries experience preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the global mining landscape and supply chain stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to understand the value of matching buyers and sellers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior-level professionals.
  • Willingness to travel for international events (up to 20%).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and meeting scheduling tools.
