
Lead Respiratory Healthcare Specialist

The role of the Respiratory Clinical Lead plays a vital part in providing advanced clinical leadership and expertise relevant to the specialty of Respiratory. This position requires direct and indirect care as needed, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver safe and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7.
- Adhere to Queensland Health commitments and values, achieving organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
This role is pivotal in driving exceptional care to children, young people, and families, aligning with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service values.
About the SpecialtyRespiratory patients have complex chronic disease profiles, often accompanied by significant psychological dysfunction, social disadvantage, and racial disparities. The respiratory service provides comprehensive care, including inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory services, as well as telephone support and liaison with regional and rural healthcare providers.
Leadership and CoachingIn this role, you will lead and support others in delivering responsive, integrated, and internationally recognised person-centred care through various services and facilities, including the Queensland Children's Hospital and other statewide services and programs.
