About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Room Leader to join our team in Toongabbie. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, assessing and reviewing a high quality and diverse educational program for Preschool children.


Your Responsibilities



  • Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment that fosters children's curiosity and creativity.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with team members, families and children.
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Design and implement daily routines and use routine times as opportunities for learning.
  • Plan and deliver engaging educational programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Requirements



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment and a willingness to coach and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Strong Team Player with a friendly and energetic personality.
  • Thinking outside the box, bringing new ideas and solutions to improve our services.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Working With Children Check.

Salary and Benefits


The successful candidate will receive a salary of approximately $32.00 per hour. Other benefits include employee discount, professional development assistance, referral program and travel reimbursement.


Schedule and Work Location


The role involves working Monday to Friday in person at our Toongabbie location.
