Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to fill the role of a Biology Teacher. This position is essential in guiding students through their academic journey in the biological sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons to both groups and individual students, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of biological concepts.
- Contribute to the design, execution, and assessment of the biology curriculum, aligning with educational standards.
- Fulfill additional teaching and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the School Principal.
- Engage in collaborative activities, including parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and educational excursions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education, with a focus on VCE or IB.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at the secondary level.
Desired Skills:
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and fostering student engagement.
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in challenging situations.
- In-depth content knowledge and pedagogical strategies to cater to diverse student needs.
- Understanding of appropriate conduct when interacting with students.
