We seek skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team at Hobart / Cambridge Airport Facility, supporting StarFlight Australia Aeromedical, SAR and Air Law Enforcement operations in Tasmania.

This role involves working a 7/7 roster, reporting to the Senior Base Engineer (SBE), and being responsible for ground handling, stores general housekeeping, conducting planned and unplanned maintenance activities on B412 and H145-D3 Helicopters.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in aircraft change overs
• Ensuring facilities comply with AMO MOE and Regulatory standards
• Supporting and completing ground handling requirements and washing of aircraft
• Assisting Stores when required
• Conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections of aircraft systems, structures, and components to ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulations
• Executing maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements of aircraft parts and systems
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and compliance documentation, to ensure regulatory compliance and traceability
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Collaborating closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and address safety concerns

To succeed in this role, you will possess a Trade Qualification in Aircraft Maintenance and have experience with B412 and H145-D3 Helicopters. You will also need full-time working rights in Australia and comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and their maintenance requirements.
