Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the housekeeping team to uphold cleaning standards, ensure daily operations run smoothly, and provide support to team members as needed.
  • Coordinate room allocations and workload management to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and motivate the team to achieve excellence in their roles, with a focus on maintaining high attention to detail and providing exceptional guest service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Manage stock control of cleaning supplies and linen to minimize waste and ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist with rostering and scheduling to ensure team efficiency and flexibility, including the ability to work across a 7-day roster.
  • Uphold workplace safety and compliance procedures to create a safe and healthy working environment for all staff members.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in housekeeping supervision or team leadership is essential, along with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are also required for this role.
