About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at DNA Recruitment. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility
  • Support residents with meal times and feeding requirements, promoting a safe and dignified experience
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to document and monitor resident records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Contribute to infection control and prevention measures, maintaining a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) or be currently studying a nursing degree with completed aged care clinical placement
  • Be available for scheduled and on-call shift bookings, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Demonstrate ability to work towards resident outcomes, prioritizing their needs and well-being
  • Provide proof of influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Hold a current police check or NDIS check, as required
