Job Summary
  • A collaborative professional with hands-on experience in Guidewire (any suite), Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, and Webservices is required to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in writing Gunits/Junits and increasing code coverage.
  • Business Driven Development technique practice is expected.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in business workshops and provide technical solutions on changes.
  • Estimate work effort and review effort from other developers in the team.
  • Work with Customer side Technical Lead and Architect for technical guidance.
  • Prepare technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration changes.
  • Mentor and help other technical developers in the team.
  • Coordinate and perform integration testing with QA and other dependent teams.
  • Participate and provide technical inputs/guidance in defect triage meetings.
  • Help BAs and Testers with technical demo sessions presented to business.
  • Create knowledge base documents and hand over changes to production support team.
Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in Core Java, REST API technologies are required.
  • At least 4+ years experience in Guidewire are necessary.
  • Good P&C insurance experience is expected.
Qualifications/Certifications (Optional)
  • Minimum B.E or B.Tech or MCA degree is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center and at least a Guidewire professional certification are desired.
  • Insurance industry knowledge with work experience in Claims and financial modules is beneficial.
