About Our Logistics Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for leading the Community Pantry and Warehouse team in Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate all warehouse activities, deliveries, orders, and rosters.">
  • Recruit and lead a team of warehouse staff, volunteers, and trainees, ensuring appropriate supervision, development, and training opportunities.">
  • Foster a safety culture by ensuring staff and visitors maintain a safe, clean, efficient, and tidy workplace, and comply with safe work practices.">
  • Ensure strategic supplier and partner relationships are managed to ensure best possible outcomes for our community services work.">
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate and efficient stock control, providing reports and data analysis to management as needed.">
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are streamlined, productive, and that procurement expenses are managed effectively.">
  • Lead and contribute to projects aligned with our strategy in financial capability and food sustainability in collaboration with senior program managers.">

About You:

  • ">
  • Alignment with our vision, mission, and values.">
  • Tertiary qualifications in warehousing, logistics, or similar fields.">
  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in warehouse operations/logistics management.">
  • Substantial experience (3+ years) working in a warehouse and logistics environment, including experience with implementing inventory management systems.">
  • Excellent people skills - ability to connect with, understand, and interact positively with colleagues, clients, and community.">
  • Demonstrated experience in people leadership and line management.">
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Desirable: Project management experience.">
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence.">
  • Forklift licence.">
  • Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.">
