Mathers House Program Officer Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our community programs. As a Mathers House Program Officer, you will be responsible for providing a warm and professional welcome to the community who use the facility whilst ensuring the day-to-day operational functions are administered effectively.

The successful candidate will have strong administrative and financial management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery and development of projects, programs and events of the Positive Ageing program across Mathers and Criterion Houses.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Positive Ageing team to ensure effective delivery of programs, projects and events.
  • Support the Mathers House dining program and Mathers Place activities including launches and other events.

Requirements:

  • Experience in community sector projects with strong administrative and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to manage manual tasks are essential.
