About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Apps Mav. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JSON.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product, functional, and technical documents.
  • Contribute to the development of new product initiatives that impact our bottom line.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JSON.
  • Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
  • Strong understanding and application of OOP principles, REST APIs, and MVC architecture.
  • Experience developing within the LAMP environment.
  • Good understanding of security issues in development.
  • Computer Science degree or similar level of tertiary education.
  • Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines, and effectively prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks.
  • Experience working on large-scale systems to make them faster, more scalable, and fault-tolerant.
  • Ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly with minimal direction.
  • Deep understanding of HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Angular is a definite plus.
  • Comfortable with customer-facing roles, including support and documentation.
