Network Security Specialist

As a seasoned professional in network security, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's infrastructure by managing and maintaining network security systems. Your expertise in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs will be crucial in ensuring the integrity of our digital presence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust network security policies and procedures to mitigate potential threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of security initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in network security is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, including Juniper SRX and Fortigate, is essential.
  • Experience with load balancing, switching, and routing configurations is required.
  • Familiarity with logging platforms and monitoring tools is necessary.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting languages, such as Python and Ansible, is desired.
Bonus Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, would be beneficial.
  • Experience with cloud-based security solutions is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulations is also preferred.
