Job Title: Teacher - Primary - Inclusion

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team as an Inclusion Support Specialist. This role will provide additional support to students who require assistance in accessing their learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience in classroom teaching and be able to cope with change, demonstrating flexibility in the role. You will work closely with the Learning Support Team Lead to become familiar with the position and its responsibilities.

This role focuses on supporting English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) students and their teachers, helping them to access their learning. Our school is welcoming and accepting of everyone, and we strive to create an inclusive environment that supports all students to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualized support to EALD students in accessing their learning
  • To collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support EALD students
  • To contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland
  • In addition to registration, an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services
