Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer / Sonographer to join our team at CollarCare. The ideal candidate will possess dual qualifications in radiography and sonography, with a strong background in a range of imaging modalities.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and health services across QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Conduct general X-ray, trauma, and mobile imaging procedures, as well as a variety of ultrasound examinations, including General, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Limited MSK, Breast, Small Parts, Vascular, and Pediatrics.
  2. Operate Imaging Equipment: Utilize QDoc Booking System for scheduling and managing imaging appointments, and operate and manage the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for image storage and retrieval.
  3. Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work closely with medical staff to interpret imaging results and support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  4. Provide Patient Care: Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during imaging procedures, and maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
Requirements:
  1. Dual Qualifications: Possess dual qualifications in radiography and sonography.
  2. Experience: Have proven experience in general X-ray, trauma, and mobile imaging, as well as a range of ultrasound modalities.
  3. Certifications: Hold a Trophon certificate and a QLD Radiation License.
  4. Skills: Be proficient in QDoc Booking System for Imaging, and have experience with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  5. Other: Possess Australian working rights, an updated Australian Immunisation History, and a National Police Check.
