Highly Skilled Legal Expert for Queensland Government

As a highly skilled legal expert, you will play a critical role in supporting the Justice and Attorney-General department of The State of Queensland. This position requires expertise in providing superior, expert, and authoritative professional legal advice and representation to all client areas within the Queensland Government.
With four legal branches and 15 teams, this role offers a broad range of legal services with many opportunities for growth and development. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and contributing to business planning processes. You will be required to provide sponsorship to projects and participate in workgroups as needed. Additionally, you will need to ensure Crown Law's commitment to a performance culture is maintained by dealing with performance issues in a proactive and timely manner.
This role requires an individual who can build the business of Crown Law by proactively undertaking reinvestment activities, such as undertaking a role as a co-client manager, preparing legal briefings and papers for publishing. You will also be responsible for ensuring the productivity and revenue targets of the team are met.
We offer an estimated salary of around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and the level of experience required for this role.
