Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Education and Outdoor Education Teacher to join our team at a vibrant Catholic College in Melbourne's West.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education and Outdoor Education to students in Years 7-10, as well as contributing to the development of the College's Physical Education and Outdoor Education program.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator to join a supportive and inclusive community that values student wellbeing and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Physical Education and Outdoor Education to students in Years 7-10
  • Contribute to the development of the College's Physical Education and Outdoor Education program
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of extracurricular activities and events
  • Provide support and guidance to students, particularly those with special needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Physical Education and Outdoor Education
  • Ability to teach both Physical Education and Outdoor Education to students in Years 7-10
  • Hold VIT registration or be eligible
  • Valid Australian Working Rights
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
