About the Opportunity

Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers is seeking an experienced and dedicated residential house manager for the girls/boys boarding facilities. This casual position will commence as soon as practicable.

The successful candidate will be a member of a team responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in a residential setting. The team's primary goal is to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities

">

The residential house manager will be responsible for:

">
  • ">
  • Providing pastoral support to residents, including guidance and mentoring">
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy living environment">
  • Coordinating daily routines and activities">
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans">
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination">
  • Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices and policies">
  • Assisting with meal preparation and serving residents">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A current Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card)">
  • A commitment to undertaking and successfully completing ABSA Book 1 and 2">
  • A Senior First Aid certificate, including Asthma and CPR components">
  • A Food Handlers certificate">
  • A Current Driver's Licence">
  • An ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville">
  • An ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner">
