Ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of heavy mining equipment is crucial for a company's operational efficiency. We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our high-performing maintenance team.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel fitting, with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a leading hand, you will guide a diverse team who thrive on their love of engines, supervising and coordinating maintenance activities across CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr mining equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on heavy mining equipment when required.
  • Foster a positive, team-focused culture by mentoring and developing crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
About You

Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitting trade certificate (or equivalent) is a must. Proven leading hand/supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and support maintenance crews is highly desirable. Current G1, G8, G9 (S1, S2, S3), and G2 certificates are also required.
