Data Center Support Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Support Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.

As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high system reliability by resolving trouble tickets efficiently
  • Share knowledge and educate less technical staff on best practices in Data Center Operations
  • Be a technical escalation point for other team members
  • Participate in high-impact projects and contribute to operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of server hardware management, network management, and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches, Routers
  • Linux administration knowledge and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field with applicable certifications or equivalent professional or military experience
  • Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment)
  • Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications
