Job Title

A Senior DevOps Engineer is required to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Critical Infrastructure Development: Design and implement automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to ensure high availability and scalability of critical systems.
  • Cloud or On-Premise Setup: Build and manage cloud or on-premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools to streamline deployments.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance to identify bottlenecks and optimize application and infrastructure efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, fostering skill development and promoting collaboration between teams.
  • Best Practices Establishment: Establish best practices for DevOps processes and workflows to ensure security, compliance, and quality.
  • Issue Detection and Resolution: Set up monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and troubleshoot/resolve infrastructure or application-related issues promptly.
  • DevSecOps Implementation: Integrate DevSecOps principles throughout the development lifecycle to ensure security and compliance.
Required Skills
  • Jenkins, GitLab, ADO Pipelines: Experience with Java build tools (Maven, Gradle), Docker tools (Harbor, Docker, Docker-Compose), and configuration tools Ansible and Ansible Tower.
  • CI/CD Tools and IaC Tools: Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab, and ADO pipelines, as well as experience optimizing applications in distributed systems.
  • Programming Languages: Strong understanding of programming languages Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Java.
  • Unix/Linux Systems: Experience working with Unix/Linux systems and knowledge of operating systems (processes, threads).
Background

Experienced engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, automating, and optimizing mission-critical deployments.

Education and Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering, related field.
  • Applicable vendor/technology certification or equivalent work experience.
