Senior Mortgage Credit Analyst

Credit analysis plays a pivotal role in the credit evaluation process, ensuring that residential mortgages are thoroughly assessed and meet the necessary criteria. As a key member of the credit assessment team, you will be responsible for reviewing financial statements and credit reports, managing daily workflow, and making sound recommendations to management on complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing financial statements and credit reports
- Managing daily workflow by ensuring all SLA's are adhered to
- Acting as the primary point of escalation between sales and the credit department
- Making sound and high-quality recommendations to management on complex and/or high-value transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in credit analysis within a mortgage brokerage
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Driven and self-motivated to exceed targets
- Able to assess complex residential files
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Genuine focus on customer service when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
