About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor to join our Private Business and Family Advisory division at Pitcher Partners Brisbane. As an Employment Tax Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and assistance to clients across the full range of employment tax matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients and leaders to support and expand our services.
  • Employment Tax Expertise: Provide expert advice and assistance to clients on employment tax matters, including FBT, Payroll Tax, Salary Packaging, Workers' Compensation, and Superannuation Guarantee.
  • Employee Share Scheme Advice: Provide advice and reporting on employee share schemes.
  • Inbound and Outbound Tax Residency Advice: Provide advice on individual tax residency.
Private Business and Family Advisory
  • Financial Account Preparation: Review client files and prepare first draft financial accounts and tax documents for management review.
  • Complex Accounting and Tax Engagements: Develop and deliver complex accounting and taxation engagements that consistently exceed client expectations.
  • Client Service and Support: Provide regular support to clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service.
  • Team Development: Delegate tasks to team members and assist in developing junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in accounting and/or law, with completed CA/CPA/TIA qualification.
  • Experience: Experience in the application of various employment taxation matters in a professional environment.
  • Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to manage conflicting deadlines, and interpret relevant legislation.
  • Personal Qualities: Inquisitive, enjoy legal research, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
