Store Leadership Opportunity

The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the operations of our Toowoomba store.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Toowoomba, QLD, reporting directly to the Area Manager.

  • Lead operational initiatives and achieve sales and surplus targets.
  • Develop and implement effective stock flow strategies, pricing, and visual merchandising according to our standards and values.
  • Inspire, train, and develop a passionate team of employees and volunteers.
  • Maintain efficient store operations through budget management, roster control, and wage cost optimization.
  • Build strong community connections with local groups and partners.

Key requirements include:

  • Significant retail management experience.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and engage people.
  • Ability to manage operational priorities within allocated resources.
  • Experience with Workday HCM system highly regarded.
