About the Project

Clough is seeking expressions of interest for Crane Operators to work on the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

Project Overview

The project involves upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system, enabling the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use and generating biogas as a source of energy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate crane to lift, transfer and place loads safely and efficiently.
  • Assess ground conditions prior to setting up or lifting with the crane.
  • Inspect crane mechanisms and lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
  • Ensure crane is level and safety mechanisms are operable before lifting and placing loads.
  • Conduct daily pre-start inspections to ensure crane is safe for use.
  • Determine load weights and check against lifting capacities to prevent overload.
  • Direct support team (Riggers) with crane set-up.
  • Shut down and leave crane in a safe manner when leaving the crane.

Requirements

  • High Risk Work License (CO, C1, CN)
  • Working at Heights
  • Construction White/Blue Card
  • Current Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (Desired)
  • High Risk Work Licence – EWP (Desired)
