Revenue Accounting Leader

This key leadership role reports directly to the C-Suite and focuses on scaling revenue recognition, billing, and collections processes. The ideal candidate will own the full quote-to-cash process, lead a growing team of accounting professionals, and ensure audit readiness.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement scalable processes for revenue recognition, billing, and collections
  • Oversight of the entire quote-to-cash process from sales order to cash receipt
  • Lead a team of accounting professionals in achieving business objectives
  • Maintain audit readiness and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Promote collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize contract and billing operations

Ideal candidates possess deep expertise in SaaS revenue management, strong knowledge of ASC 606, and a passion for automation and team leadership.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
  • Significant experience in public accounting is essential
  • 10-12+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and billing/collections, including 5+ years in a leadership position
  • Detailed understanding of ASC 606, including experience reviewing complex SaaS and subscription-based contracts
  • Proven ability to lead order-to-cash processes and manage billing and AR operations
  • Experience working in a public company environment, including SOX compliance and external audit
