The team is a highly proactive and high-calibre group that collaborates across infrastructure, app security, corporate IT, and engineering functions.

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our team, working closely with IT, Product, and Engineering teams to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cybersecurity threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal teams to analyse and drive security improvements for new or existing applications, software, or services.
  • Design, develop, test, and evaluate new security controls to support our rapidly growing business.
  • Perform incident response and log source analysis to identify new threats.
  • Design and implement custom detection strategies and workflows to support the incident response lifecycle.
  • Assess systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities, support mitigation, and remediation.
  • Conduct digital forensic analysis to identify and mitigate threats.
Requirements
  • A degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in security engineering or incident response roles within a tech company.
  • Hands-on experience with coding languages, including Python, Java, or similar.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms, such as GCP.
  • Knowledge of common attacker tools and techniques and the ability to respond to incidents.
