About the Role:

Mechanical Hoist Technician/Installer

As a skilled Mechanical Hoist Technician/Installer, you will collaborate with our experienced team on various tasks including scheduled maintenance of vehicle hoists, relocation and major repairs. You may also be required to participate in new store fit-outs for national fleet customers, occasionally requiring interstate work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicle hoists as part of our service team.
  • Assist in relocating vehicle hoists, installing new equipment, and carrying out major pull-down repairs.
  • Contribute to new store setups for national fleet clients, which may involve occasional interstate travel.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • Punctuality, presentation, and trustworthiness are highly valued.
  • You should be able to operate basic service software on a tablet.
  • A current driver's licence is highly advantageous, particularly an MR or HR Truck.
  • Adherence to high-level OHS practices and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Basic mechanical or trade knowledge is beneficial, as is experience in service and maintenance.
  • You must be available for occasional interstate assignments.
  • Forklift and EWP licences are highly beneficial.
  • You will need to provide basic mechanical hand tools, although a small tool kit can be developed within six months.
